It is an eye opening yet I won’t consider this true, Pakistan is not Afghanistan or Iraq, even its more solid and strong then Iran, and If war is the option, we won’t need our status-quo life, guns are the only option to kick`em out of our holy land, I am sure, all parties, all races and castes/sects will be united during war! INSHALLAH.

Your article has a lot of flaws….primarily it is based on ‘assumptions’ of 1 source where as it is not possible for the US to wage war with Pakistan, a fact. Besides, how would the world react? How would China react (remember China militarily confronted the US in Vietnam & Korea wars?), how would Russia, Saudi Arabia or even Iran or India react? Is a destabilized Pakistan in India’s interest?
Does that mean that I think Pakistan can win a war with US, NO! However, as per your example, if the elephant was aware that the goat sting would leave him physically disabled would he still want to fight the sheep? The US has an awe that it wants to enhance.
Finally, please let me remind you, that unlike the poorly armed Talibaan, we have the ability to shoot down US helicopters and Jets, and if we are unable to detect and shoot down certain Fighters we have the ability to annihilate the bases where these fighters take off from (including aircraft carrier battle groups). We also have the ability to hit US forces in a 5000+km radius with our IRBM which are most likely MIRV’ed by now. I could go on and on before I get to our Nuclear Might.
But before we do any of that, we can simply arm the Talibaan, instead of hunting them down, with MANPADS and Baktar Shikans…..they will defeat the US forces in Afghanistan within months. We have so many advantages…….if we die, we die a ‘Shaheed’, if we live we live ‘Ghazi’!
Basically we just need to grow some balls, like Iran.
